NATO, US want to give Russia unified international response on Ukraine – Rasmussen

NATO Secretary General visits Washington D.C.

NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen and U.S. officials have expressed the need to give Russia a “unified international response” in connection with the events in Ukraine, the alliance’s press service reported on Wednesday.

Rasmussen, after arriving in Washington, attended a working dinner hosted by U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, together with Secretary of State John Kerry and National Security Advisor Susan Rice.

“They stressed the importance of a unified international response to Russia’s continued violation of Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty and breach of international law,” the press service said.

The sides also “examined the implications of the crisis for the Wales Summit and reviewed the whole range of NATO’s agenda in preparation for the meeting of alliance foreign ministers in early April,” the report said.

With a fun gathering like that, no wonder they make such masterful decisions for peace.

“Unified International Response”=another figleaf Coalition of the Willing for the Anglo-Americans to hide behind.

What is is about the Americans that they are so afraid to stand on their own feet and go it alone? They always have to round up some lame posse to hide behind. LOL.
