NATO helicopter accidentally kills four Afghan soldiers

A NATO helicopter mistakenly attacked the position of Afghan troops, killing at least four Afghan army soldiers, reports Interfax citing the AP on Thursday.

Afghan troops reported an attack after a NATO helicopter gunmen bombarded their checkpoint in Nangarhar province in eastern Afghanistan.

A misguided helicopter opened fire on Afghan soldiers by mistake.

An investigation into the incident has already been launched.
