KYIV: Only the NATO membership can protect Ukraine from Russian aggression.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk said within the frames of the 11th Annual Meeting of Yalta European Strategy YES, held in Kyiv, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We must clearly recognize that, in these particular circumstances, NATO is the only way to protect Ukraine,” Yatseniuk said.

According to him, not all NATO members are satisfied with this position of Ukraine.

“In the short term, NATO is not ready to accept Ukraine, but the Bible says: if knocking on the door – the door will open. So we decided to knock,” the head of the government said.

Yatseniuk is sure that Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to take over the entire territory of Ukraine: “I clearly understand what the ultimate goal is. He seeks to take not just Donetsk and Luhansk, he wants to take the whole of Ukraine. ”

However Yatseniuk noted that “this will never happen, we will fight for our Ukraine.”

This about knocking seems to have lost something in translation, but it occurred in the Christian New Testament, not the Jewish scriptures which constitute the Christian Old Testament, and refers to the approach needed to get salvation, not some cheap distortion implying that the Christian God was offering guidance to a Zionist on how to get into a war block.

Im amazed this Nazi Yatseniuk has not been relieved of his position on planet earth or is it he has simply got rid of any potential threat.

So Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to “take” all of Ukraine. Either Yatsenyuk is brainwashed and believes this stuff or he is a good paid actor fits in well with the rest of the owned high ranking US public officials. He will go the way of Sakkashvilli, at best. Maybe worse. Poroshenko too. He may be deposed more ungracefully than Yanukovych.

I would venture that both Obama and Putin have some skin in the game. Putin much more. If you are to believe the recent intelligence, they have recordings of Russian commanders interacting with the Gadfly SAMs battery. Then supposedly you have images of two BUK systems coming from the scene of the crime hightailing it back across the Russian border with one missle missing on one of the units. Also, I would imagine it would take some serious technical support to fire one of those units which more than likely came from Russia. To say Russia has nothing to do with it is ludicrous. Russia has motive, means and the manpower and now evidences is starting to trickle in that they were closely involved. That all being said, I don’t think they meant to hit the airliner http://tinyurl.com/mwno26p

Who can blame any one of the Republics subjugated by Russia for wanting independence, who?

It would seem that what is good for Crimea is not good for Siberia

“Russian authorities have banned a Siberian independence march and threatened to block the BBC Russian service over its coverage of separatist protests.

In sharp contrast to the treatment of separatists in Crimea and eastern Ukraine, Moscow has made it clear that it does not welcome similar aspirations at home.

The media watchdog may block the website of the BBC Russian serviceover an interview with Artyom Loskutov, an organiser of the March for Siberian Federalisation, the newspaper Izvestiya reported on Tuesday. The march was due to take place on 17 August in Novosibirsk, Siberia’s largest city.

The Novosibirsk mayor’s office reportedly denied permission on Tuesday to hold the march “in order to ensure the inviolability of the constitutional order, territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Russian Federation”.

And there was everyone in the RF thinking that they were willing members of it – not that they had signed over their sovereignty to Russia.

      What utter hogwash.
In addition to being transparently contrived, the “story” lacks any historical or legal understanding.
Just the sort of pseudo-news distraction to muddy the waters.
