Kosovo: Army without a state?

NATO Military Committee visited Kosovo
NATO Military Committee led by its Chairman Admiral Giampaolo Di Paola and NATO Joint Force Command Naples, Admiral Mark Fitzgerald visited Kosovo in 2012 and attended a demonstration of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF).

Pristina authorities do not conceal that their main goal is membership in NATO, Russian political scientist and publicist Elena Ponomareva believes.

On January 13, 2013, Pristina announced the beginning of the transformation of the Kosovo Security Forces (KSF) to the Army of Kosovo.

It was officially stated by Agim Ceku, Commander of the KSF, in the recent past a gunman of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA).

“The fact that this man is the head of the security forces tells volumes. Let me remind you that it was under his command that the KLA displayed unprecedented cruelty to Kosovo Serbs. He personally took part in the murder of 669 Serbs, but somehow the Hague Tribunal shows no interest in this person. Former Minister of Justice of Serbia Vladan Batic has rightly described Ceku as a man “whose hands are covered with Serbian blood up to the elbows.” However, as an insult to Serbs and to concepts of morality, on February 23, 2011, Agim Ceku was appointed Minister of the KSF.

It is obvious that the creation of an army is not only the will of Kosovo militants, but also of their main sponsors and patrons – the United States and NATO, Elena Ponomareva goes on.

“It was they who in their time nurtured the KLA, helped it to consolidate its position in the region, and saved it from disarmament, having transformed it, at first, to the Kosovo Protection Corps and then to the KSF. NATO does not even hide its role in this process: the NATO Council is to give the final political decision on the transformation of the Security Forces to the Army of Kosovo in June, 2013.

“The armaments of the Kosovo Security Force is constantly replenished. Arms supplies come to Kosovo from Tetova (northwest Macedonia) via Kukes to Prizren and Peci; from Montenegro via Rožaje to Peci; via Novi Pazar (Serbia) to the southern area of Kosovska Mitrovica. And at the same time Serbs are arrested and persecuted even for owning hunting rifles. In addition, after staff reduction, KFOR units left armored personnel carriers, helicopters and other equipment to the KSF. Foreign military specialists from private military companies (for example, the American MPRI) work as instructors in the KSF.”

Against the background of the above, the behavior of the current Serbian leadership looks not only strange, but phantasmagoric, Elena Ponomareva notes. Official Belgrade is going to demand prompt condemnation of Kosovo criminals from the UN, and at the same time it is ready to make concessions to these criminals – leaders of “independent” Kosovo, and it is for five years now that it cannot protect 66 thousand Serbs living in Northern Kosovo.

“Kosova Republjic” or Clinton-Dole-Albright-Clark CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE is the corner stone in building “greater Albania” as NATO’s launching pad for military aggressions/interventions in Russia’s soft underbelly: oil and gas rich Caucasus region, as well as in Middle East and Northern Africa.
Meanwhile, what can Government of Serbia do, forced with NATO armed Albanian thugs? Peaceful and impoverished Serbia, exhausted from lengthy wars of attrition, surrounded by NATO hostile countries alone can not change this nasty status quo!
