Brussels views the nations and peoples of Southern Europe as useful for providing air and naval bases for wars against nations like Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya and Syria and and troop contingents for the endless war in Afghanistan.
Nothing substantially different from how they were treated by Napoleon Bonaparte and Adolf Hitler.
And the Anglo-Saxons, Germans and Franks call all the shots.
My first inkling of this was a headline of one of my more obscure RSS feeds. I assumed it was some kind of satirical play on that notorious Obama prize, probably quite funny but – what with all the other headings vying for attention – it would have to wait.
In spite of the vastness of the sanctimonious absurdities now thrust at us on a daily basis, it still came as a shock to find that it was no satire.
