Agile Spirit is what is scheduled to become an annual exercise and supplements other military engagements such as the Georgia Deployment Program, which is a U.S. Marine Corps program that prepares Georgian Armed Forces to deploy to Afghanistan in support of the International Security Assistance Force.

Tbilisi: Joint exercises of the U.S. Marine infantrymen and the fourth infantry brigade of the Georgian Defense Ministry Agile Spirit 2012 will be held on the training ground of the Vaziani military base on March 10-24.

The exercise will involve over 300 Marine infantrymen from the Marine Corps’ Black Sea Rotational Force 12 based in Constanta, Romania, the U.S embassy to Georgia told Trend.

The purpose of the joint exercises is to intensify the interoperability of the armed forces of both countries and to help them to exchange their knowledge and experience. The exercises also include testing of military equipment, escorting and neutralizing self-made explosive devices.

There is something very sinister about this love-fest with a tinpot entity run by a US puppet who seems to have a special bond with the O admin.

Right. And with Obama’s predecessor and whoever succeeds him, at aeternum.
During the early months of 2008 when now-president Obama and Secretary of State Clinton were running against each other for the Democratic presidential nomination, the two of them – both Senators who were “planted” in their positions, one a carpetbagger who had never lived in New York State and the other who went to the U.S. Senate directly from the Illinois State legislature – issued on the same day press releases demanding Georgia and Ukraine join NATO, citing – identical terminology – the phrase “Europe whole and free,” which expression was coined by President George H.W. Bush in 1989.
